Texas + Georgia: A Generational Dive Into the Political Ties That Bind Us

While Atlanta and Austin, the capital cities of Georgia and Texas. are separated by more than 900 miles, the communities are connected through our histories and more recent voter suppresssion efforts.

On Monday, October 21 (8 pm EST/7pm CST) join the Atlanta Journal Constitution’s award-winning journalist Tia Mitchell as she moderates “A Generational Dive into the Political Ties That Bind Us.” This engaging (and exciting) conversation will feature Texas Congresswoman Jasmine Crockett, LWVAF President Charis Johnson, and many of our nation’s strongest voices for equality and justice.
