Hand’s Up Atlanta invites you to participate in a virtual program “Racial Healing Through Art”, cohosted with Not So Strong. This is part of their Art and Activism series.
This event features a conversation about the trope of the strong black woman and ways that female artists use art to challenge tropes and promote healing from racial trauma. Speakers include visual artist Shanequa Gay, director Amanda Washington, psychologist Dr. Ayanna Adams and others. The conversation is followed by a 30min expressive arts workshop available for all (optional).
